Bookkeeping that feeds your return
Monthly bookkeeping built for tax, not just for reports. Transactions are categorized the way they'll land on your return, so there's no scramble in March and no gap between what your books say and what you filed.
Best for: businesses and contractors with more than a few dozen transactions a month.
How it works
Connect
We link your bank, cards and payroll in QuickBooks Online or Xero — or migrate you if you use something else.
Categorize
Every month, transactions are categorized for tax and receipts are matched.
Reconcile and close
Accounts are reconciled and the month is closed, so the numbers don't move later.
Report
You get a monthly profit and loss with a recommended tax set-aside.
Why it matters
Books that are "mostly right" are fine until someone needs them — a lender, a buyer, or a tax agency. When books are kept for tax from the start, your return becomes a review instead of a project, and every number on it can be traced back to a transaction.
The monthly set-aside number means the money for your estimates is already there when the deadline comes.
Common questions
- Which accounting software do you use?
- QuickBooks Online and Xero. We connect to most banks, cards and payroll providers, and migrate you if you're on something else.
- Can you catch up books that are behind?
- Yes. If you switch mid-year, we catch up your books from January 1 and recalculate the remaining estimates.
- Do you handle 1099s for my contractors?
- We track 1099 vendors and collect W-9s through the year so contractor forms are ready in January.
